Press Release
Lawrenceville, GA, USA, February 1, 2006
AeroQuest, Inc. announces the introduction of a new class of aircraft decorative surfacing. This material, called “SP-6565”, meets the stringent requirements of FAA and JAA regulations for commercial aircraft (FAR 25.853), which involves flammability, heat release, smoke density and toxic gas release. SP-6565 is produced as a solid surface casting which can be machined and bonded to form complex shapes such as lavatory countertops with integral sink bowls, or can be machined to form thin décor panels. Currently all applications are custom developed to meet customer requirements, typically solid colors or granite textures. SP-6565 exhibits very good chemical, thermal and impact resistance, and is easy to maintain. AeroQuest welcomes all inquiries for suitable applications, not only in aerospace, but also in any interior situation where highest fire safety is critical.
